Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, registered a striking sporting accomplishment at the Zonal Level Handball Tournament held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on 7–8 August 2026.
The Under-14 Girls’ Team clinched the First Position, manifesting exceptional athletic finesse, tactical sagacity and cohesive execution. The victorious contingent comprised Sanvi, Janice, Avni Joshi, Lakshita, Gaurvi and Namita, with Lakshita displaying commendable goalkeeping dexterity.
The Under-19 Girls’ Team secured the Second Position, showcasing tenacity, strategic astuteness and formidable competitive poise. The team comprised Bhumika (Goalkeeper), Mitali, Partika, Tina, Priya, Rashmi and Chehak.
The dual triumphs bear testimony to the players’ assiduous preparation, collective synergy and indefatigable resolve, while reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing sporting excellence and character.
Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal felicitated the teams and Coach Mr. Ramandeep Sharma observing, “Excellence in sport is an alchemy of discipline, resilience and purposeful endeavour.
