Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana delivered an impressive display at the SGFI Zonal Handball Tournament held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on 10–11 August 2026, with its teams securing strong positions in two categories.
The Under-19 Boys’ Team showed determination and coordination to secure the Second Position. Paras Chadhha, Devraj, Kunal Thakur, Akhil Goyal, Gourav, Tanish, and Shivam played key roles. Paras was the top scorer, Devraj strengthened defence, Kunal gave an all-round performance, Akhil impressed with technique, Gourav supported coordination, Tanish stayed consistent, and Shivam excelled in goalkeeping.
The Under-14 Boys’ Team also performed well, securing the Third Position with strong teamwork and spirit. The team included Himanshu, Mohit, Ishant, Jashan, Karan, Vipul, and Kunal. Himanshu stood out, Mohit played well, Ishant supported defence, Jashan performed steadily, Karan showed skill, Vipul aided coordination, and Kunal guarded the goal effectively.
These achievements reflect the students’ discipline, teamwork, and commitment, along with the school’s focus on sports development.
