In an age where education stands at the confluence of technological innovation and human consciousness, the BVM Group of Schools continued its inspiring journey of teacher empowerment through Day 3 of its flagship Teacher Training Programme, “Empower U.”
The day commenced on an auspicious note with the ceremonial Deep Prajwalan, symbolising the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. The programme witnessed the gracious presence of esteemed Principals Mrs. Ranju Mangal (KN), Mr. Pawan Sood (USN), Mrs. Upasana Moudgil (Sector-39 & Chandigarh Road), Mrs. Jyoti Garg (Dugri), along with Vice Principals and faculty members of the BVM Group of Schools.
The first session, “The AI-Augmented Teacher: Harnessing Artificial Intelligence and Digital Tools for Everyday Teaching,” was conducted by eminent academicians from PCTE Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana—Dr. Kapil Parashar, Dean (Engineering), and Mrs. Navkiran Kaur, Assistant Professor and Training & Placement Officer.
The resource persons delivered a highly engaging and insightful session on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in modern classrooms. They demonstrated how AI can revolutionise lesson planning, personalised learning, assessments, and student engagement, while emphasising that a teacher’s empathy, creativity, and human connect remain irreplaceable.
The second session, “Filling Your Own Cup,” was led by distinguished educationist Dr. Ajay Khosla, Teacher Educator at DAV College of Education, Abohar. Through his profound reflections rooted in life philosophy, Dr. Khosla highlighted the importance of self-awareness, emotional well-being, and inner fulfilment in an educator’s journey. He encouraged teachers to nurture their own mental, emotional, and spiritual reserves, reiterating that only a fulfilled and balanced teacher can truly inspire, nurture, and transform young minds.
Both sessions offered a compelling blend of futuristic pedagogy and personal growth, reaffirming BVM’s steadfast commitment to nurturing educators who are technologically empowered, emotionally resilient, and future-ready.
As a token of gratitude and respect, saplings and mementoes were presented to the resource persons. The event culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks followed by the rendition of the National Anthem.
