Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, observed “Pledge to Protect Big Cats” with immense enthusiasm and ecological awareness. The initiative aimed at sensitizing students towards the conservation of endangered big cats such as tigers, lions and leopards, while promoting respect for wildlife and nature.
To mark the occasion, the school organised slogan writing and poster making competitions along with an enlightening awareness session on wildlife conservation. Students participated wholeheartedly and conveyed impactful messages on protecting forests, preserving biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance through their creative expressions.
Students were educated about the growing threats faced by wildlife due to deforestation and habitat destruction. They also took a solemn pledge to protect and preserve the majestic big cats of our planet and spread awareness regarding wildlife conservation.
Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal stated, “Wildlife conservation is a collective responsibility. Big cats are vital for maintaining ecological harmony, and their protection reflects our commitment towards preserving nature for future generations.”
