In a meaningful initiative to nurture humanitarian values and responsible living, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar observed World Red Cross Day through thoughtfully planned health and safety activities. The celebration reflected the noble ethos of the International Red Cross Movement while sensitizing students to wellness, compassion, and community service.
An enlightening health awareness session, coupled with an engaging presentation on heatwave preparedness, equipped students with practical knowledge of preventive healthcare, emergency response, and personal safety. Students also confidently demonstrated their understanding of handling medical emergencies.
Adding a hands-on dimension, the First Aid Box Making Activity empowered students with essential first-aid skills and highlighted the importance of preparedness in daily life. The Science faculty further guided students on vital precautions such as staying hydrated, wearing light-coloured attire, maintaining hygiene, and remaining alert to changing weather conditions.
Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal encouraged students to remain health-conscious, follow weather advisories, and prioritize their well-being, emphasizing that sound health forms the foundation of a purposeful life.
