In a noble initiative to bridge the intergenerational gap, students from Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, visited Shree Vivekanand Swarg Ashram, an old-age home. The students engaged in lively conversations, sang songs, and learned valuable life lessons from the elderly residents. They also distributed gifts, including woollens, fruits, sweets, and blankets, spreading joy and warmth. The visit aimed to instill empathy and social responsibility in the students while providing companionship to the elderly. The experience was enriching for the students, who gained valuable insights from the elderly.
Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal emphasized the importance of treating elders with compassion and dignity, saying, "Our elders are the custodians of wisdom and experience, and it's our responsibility to respect and care for them."
